To supply snow clearing services to the Aweres Volunteer Fire Department at 30 Hwy. 556, Heyden, Ontario as required.
- the paved portion of the firehall yard,
* Shovel the main door plus vehicle garage doors (plow usually leaves a deposit of snow thus creating a snow ridge build up, shovelling will keep this from happening). - Shovel the walkway to oil tank to right of main hall door.
- The driveway to and including access to the Fire Training Tower (sides A & B) and garage.
- Hydrant locations including driveway and turnaround area:
- Hwy. 556 Lower Island Lake
- Macintyre Road – behind Cristies
- Beaumont MO Park (when requested)
Note: Areas inside the hydrant protective posts to be kept clear for ready access by hand shovel or other means – plowing requirements 4 inches plus.
* Liability insurance certificate required, $2,000,000 liability. Contractor shall indemnify and save harmless the Local Services Board of Aweres from all demands, losses, damages and costs resulting directly or indirectly from the performance of work.
